Ms. Duncan graduated from Seattle University School of Law. She has experience in criminal law and guardianship, trust, and estate litigation.
​
Before entering law school, Ms. Duncan taught middle school Special Education in San Antonio and in Seattle Public Schools. While in law school, she placed first in the American Bar Association Moot Court Appellate Competition, was a King County Bar Association Scholar, and received the Jeff Robinson Equity and Racial Justice Award.
Ms. Duncan also worked for the Honorable Chief Justice Steve Gonzalez at the Washington State Supreme Court and prosecuted misdemeanors at Seattle City Attorney’s Office and the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

KJ is the Founder and CEO of 'KJ Consulting' where she serves as a Startup Consultant and Branding Strategist for various businesses across the United States.
KJ has formerly held positions as ESLA President and Communications Chair, BLSA Communications Director, a Fashion Designer, and a Makeup Artist.
Outside of work KJ loves to visit her home in Hawaii, cook, try different foods, travel, workout, and explore different creative avenues. KJ also co-hosts a podcast called '2Legit,' which is a platform for and by nontraditional law students to help to strategically navigate the legal realm.

Shelby Lynch is a Certified Paralegal based in Seattle, WA. She earned her Paralegal Certification from the University of Washington. With a diverse educational background, including a M.A. in English and a B.A. in Literature, Shelby combines her passion for language with a keen understanding of legal intricacies.
Shelby supports the staff here at Duncan Law, PLLC with client intake and communication, case management, drafting and preparing legal documents, legal research, and administrative duties.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cuisines, practicing yoga, and consuming all things true crime.

Maribeth Hernandez

Maribeth was born and raised in a small town in northeast Georgia. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Georgia in 2019, majoring in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensics.
Ms. Hernandez has previous professional experience as a Deputy Clerk for the Superior Court of Gwinnett County (Georgia) and has served as a paralegal in the field of Workers’ Compensation. She also interned with a Criminal Investigator in the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office as a requirement of her undergrad.
Ms. Hernandez has a strong passion for serving others and is eager take on her position here at Duncan Law PLLC!​
